This is a very simple program that I use to remind me of BOD times, and NPC vendor restocking.

Although it's very basic, it's extremely useful. You can hide it in your system tray and it will still pop up and play a sound to let you know it's time!

The program is easy to use. Simply enter a set amount of time and hit start. Click the tray button to hide it to your system tray, and go on with your life. Once you time is up, the program pops up, and plays a sound.

You can save preset times for common tasks. For me I only really use two, a three hour timer for BODs, and a 1.5hour timer for vendor restocking.

You can change the options to play different sounds, display a message, or change how the timer works (such as alarm clock mode).

Over all a simple program that is very useful for UO players!

 

Tip:Don't leave this running if you plan on leaving your PC before the timer goes off! I've gotten a couple calls from my roommates asking why I had a bugle playing from my room.

This stopwatch application may be somewhat of a one-trick pony, but it does provide a couple of neat features for no cash. Cool Timer's easy-to-understand interface can be programmed to count down from any number of hours, minutes, and seconds you specify. Once the time is up, it will play a MP3, WAV, or MIDI file of your choice. This app's feature set is by no means gigantic, but we really liked the tool for customizing the color scheme of the timer's background, LCD, and buttons. The main window can also be resized to a larger view. Cool Timer's focus is certainly very narrow, but folks seeking an attractive, simple, and free stopwatch program will find it a suitable choice.
